
Operations Roster Manager

We are seeking a seasoned Roster Operations Manager to lead our front-line teams and ensure operational stability for our residents, their families, and visiting health professionals.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing daily master rosters, backfill shifts, and handling requests for new shifts across our direct, contracting, and labour hire workforce.
They will partner with our corporate workforce optimisation team to ensure roster data accuracy and enable forecasting for better resource management.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in staff (direct, contractors, and labour hire) rostering and excellent communication skills with attention to detail via phone, email, and in person.
- Manage daily master rosters, backfill shifts, and handle requests for new shifts.
- Partner with the corporate workforce optimisation team to ensure roster data accuracy.
- Communicate with on-site staff regarding fortnightly allocations, roster changes, additional shifts, and available shifts.
- Lead training and manage user access for our timekeeping system.
- Maintain confidentiality of rostering information.
- Collaborate with site leadership to ensure adequate staffing for 24/7 facilities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects related to processes, engagement, staff experience, and systems.
- Extensive experience in staff (direct, contractors, and labour hire) rostering is mandatory.
- Ability to work directly with operational teams as the main point of contact for rostering information.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, managing multiple priorities under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills with attention to detail via phone, email, and in person.
- Valid NDIS Clearance or willingness to obtain one.
- Experience with Roster "Bid Manager" tools is highly regarded.
