
Lead Casework Team

This is an ongoing opportunity to lead and manage a team of Caseworkers and Casework Support Workers. The successful candidate will have a mix of knowledge, skills, and values that will enable them to empower, mentor, and provide strategic direction to the team.
About the Role:
- Establish daily priorities and resource allocations for Caseworkers.
- Nurture high-quality work encouraging best practice methods amongst staff.
- Practice effective group supervision, leadership, and individual casework coaching and feedback.
- Ensure client record compliance through review and feedback mechanisms.
- Initiate court proceedings as the official applicant.
- Contribute to operational and policy issues and change management strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Social Science, Welfare, or a related discipline.
- Experience leading and managing teams in complex and challenging situations.
- Demonstrated understanding of trauma-informed care and its impact on children and families.
- Cleared National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check.
