We are seeking a Community Engagement Specialist to make a meaningful impact in supporting Aboriginal self-determination and inclusion.
This role involves working in a supportive team focused on equity and social justice, helping to build respectful partnerships and inclusive programs that celebrate culture and community.
As part of the Equity and Community Development Branch within the Community Strengthening Division, you will be part of a values-driven team committed to promoting community health and wellbeing, supporting under-resourced groups, and building a fairer, more inclusive Yarra.
Key responsibilities include working with or alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander organisations and communities to deliver initiatives and events that acknowledge the perspectives, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
