Job Opportunity: Lead HSE Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to join our team as a Lead Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ensuring a safe and secure work environment for all.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving HSE excellence across the business by working closely with frontline and management teams. This will involve coaching and mentoring supervisors and managers on building a strong HSE culture and accountability for HSE in their areas.

  • HSE Strategy Development: Develop and implement HSE procedures and protocols to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations for mitigating hazards.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with local and regional HSE teams as well as subject matter experts on specific risks related to the oil and gas supply base.
  • Emergency Response: Provide support and participate in emergency response arrangements, including the development and maintenance of procedures and training.
Requirements:
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety.
  • At least 5 years of working experience related to HSE background.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
