
Companion Care Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Companion Support Worker to join our team. In this role, you will provide person-centered care and support to clients in their homes, assisting with daily living and lifestyle requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Domestic assistance: light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation
- Helping participants achieve goals set within their care plans
- Social support/transportation: social activities, shopping/groceries, travelling to medical appointments
- Supporting customers in the use of aids including standing or walking frames and wheelchairs.
- Monitoring the well-being of customers and reporting on their progress
- Participating in staff meetings and attending training as required
- Performs work under the supervision of the Care Coordinator
Requirements:
- Australian Federal Police Clearance
- Current CPR / First Aid Certificate
- NDIS Workers Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Australian Driver's Licence
- Reliable, registered and insured vehicle (comprehensive insurance is required)
- Smartphone with internet access
