Procurement Operations Specialist

The role of Procurement Operations Specialist is crucial in ensuring seamless procurement processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing expertise on procurement systems and workflows, driving optimization and issue resolution
  • Collecting user feedback to inform platform enhancements and improve the user experience
  • Serving as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for the Coupa platform
  • Managing user roles, system configurations, permissions, and approval workflows to align with business needs
  • Coordinating platform updates and new feature rollouts in collaboration with Coupa and IT
  • Partnering with stakeholders to tailor system functionality to procurement strategy and drive best practices
  • Configuring and maintaining key Coupa modules (Procurement, Invoicing, Analytics, SIM)
  • Collaborating with Procurement, Finance, and IT to ensure seamless integration with ERP and other platforms
  • Providing user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
  • Creating, maintaining, and managing comprehensive project documentation, process flows, and SOPs
  • Championing digital upskilling and automation adoption across the organization
  • Leading change management and user adoption efforts to train all team members on relevant system features, processes, and tools
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Critical thinking: Ability to assess situations logically and make sound judgments
  • Experience with leading or supporting cross-functional projects, ideally involving P2P systems, automation tools, or process redesign
  • 4-6 years of experience supporting or administering Coupa or similar Procure-to-Pay platforms (e.g., Ariba, SAP, Oracle Cloud)
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to clearly document processes and requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to navigate technical and non-technical teams
  • Hands-on Coupa administration: supplier onboarding, approval flows, policy setup
  • Strong grasp of P2P systems, supplier networks, and compliance requirements
  • Skilled in procurement data management and reporting best practices
  • Comfortable experimenting with and adapting to evolving AI capabilities in business systems
