Cleaning Operations Manager

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our business as a Cleaning Operations Manager.

Based in Wollongong, you will be responsible for completing daily cleaning tasks at your assigned site, as well as supporting a small team of cleaners across nearby centres.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-standard cleaning services within your assigned centre, ensuring tasks are completed on time and to scope.
  • Supervise and support team members, including hands-on training and regular site visits to maintain service quality.
  • Monitor team attendance using internal systems and ensure adequate shift coverage, including stepping in when needed.
  • Act as the first point of contact for on-site queries, escalating urgent issues to the Operations Supervisor.
  • Manage cleaning equipment and supplies, reporting faults and maintaining stock levels.
  • Follow all Health and Safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the cleaning or hospitality industry.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to lead a small team (leadership experience highly regarded).
  • Confidence in troubleshooting cleaning equipment (advantageous).
  • A reliable vehicle and a valid driver's licence.
  • Ownership of a smartphone (essential for using internal systems).
  • Have Australian working rights.
