General Manager People & Culture

Korn Ferry is assisting Australian Irrigation Investments in their search for a seasoned HR leader to drive the company's people and culture strategy.

Australian Irrigation Investments is a privately owned parent company with a strong presence in the Australian pumping and irrigation industry. With a history of significant growth and acquisition, the company is now seeking a General Manager People & Culture to join their leadership team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the HR function, developing and executing HR policies and procedures, and driving employee engagement to maximize safety, standards, quality, and customer service. They will also be responsible for implementing plans to foster a continuous-improvement focused workforce and coaching other business leaders on people and culture matters.

The ideal candidate will have relevant formal tertiary qualifications, project management strengths, and a demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task and parallel process with a strong sense of urgency. They will also have experience with Australian employment law and industrial relations matters, as well as a self-starter mentality and ability to develop effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
