The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and solutions-focused Senior Product Developer to join our Cotton On Womenswear team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. As the pivotal link between Buying and Product teams, you'll enable our vision by leading and mentoring your Product team to develop ethical and sustainable lifestyle products that our customers love.

Key Responsibilities
  • Led and mentored a Product team to deliver quality products that meet standards and frameworks.
  • Negotiated and managed product expectations with buyers and suppliers.
  • Managed product schedules, tracked production, and contributed to fittings and sample reviews.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • A degree/qualification in a relevant field (Production: Fashion, Textiles).
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Product Developer role, with the ability to lead and coach a team.
  • Proven ability with technical specifications and fittings.
  • Knowledge of Activewear fabrication is highly regarded.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate confidently with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Ability to make confident decisions that determine the success of the brand.
  • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Illustrator.
