About the Role

We're looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Product Developer to join our Cotton On Group product space. As a Product Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing key ethical and sustainable lifestyle products that our customers love. You'll support the day-to-day operating rhythm of the brand's category and be the link between our Buying and Product teams to ensure we're delivering quality products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our buyers and suppliers to negotiate and manage product expectations
  • Track production and manage product schedules
  • Contribute to fittings and review samples to ensure our products meet standards and frameworks
  • Manage style production, production schedules, and shipping schedules
  • Approve lab dips, trims, strikes offs, and bulk fabrics
  • Garment measurements and fittings, sample coordination, and technical drawings

Requirements

  • Degree/qualification in a relevant field, such as production, fashion, or textiles
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Product Developer role
  • Proven ability with technical specifications and fittings
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Strong organisation, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand
  • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Illustrator
