The Role

We are seeking a proactive Senior Product Developer to join our Cotton On Womenswear team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. As a key member of our Product team, you will enable our vision by leading and mentoring your team to develop ethical and sustainable lifestyle products that customers love.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day operating rhythm of the category and be the pivotal link between our Buying and Product teams to ensure quality products meet standards and frameworks. You will partner with buyers and suppliers to negotiate and manage product expectations, track production, manage product schedules, contribute to fittings, and review samples.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor a Product team to deliver high-quality products
  • Develop and implement product strategies to drive business growth
  • Negotiate and manage product expectations with suppliers
  • Manage product schedules and timelines to meet business objectives
  • Contribute to fittings and sample reviews to ensure product quality
Requirements
  • Degree or qualification in a relevant field, such as Fashion or Textiles
  • Proven experience in a similar Senior Product Developer role, with leadership and coaching skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organisational, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to make confident decisions that drive business success

Estimated Salary

$120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience
