About the Role

We are seeking a proactive and solutions-focused Senior Product Developer to join our Cotton On Womenswear team on a 12-month maternity leave contract. As a key member of our Product team, you will lead and mentor your team to develop ethical and sustainable lifestyle products that our customers love. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operating rhythm of the Wovens category and will be the pivotal link between our Buying and Product teams to ensure that we deliver quality products that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor your Product team to develop innovative and sustainable lifestyle products
  • Partner with our buyers and suppliers to negotiate and manage product expectations, track production, and manage product schedules
  • Contribute to fittings and review samples to ensure our products meet our standards and frameworks
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Buying and Product teams

Requirements

  • Degree or qualification in a relevant field, such as Fashion or Textiles
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar Senior Product Developer role, with the ability to lead and coach a team
  • Proven ability with technical specifications and fittings
  • Knowledge in Activewear fabrication is highly regarded
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate to internal and external stakeholders with confidence
  • Strong organisation, planning, and time management skills
  • Ability to make confident decisions that will determine the success of the brand
  • Proficient capabilities in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Illustrator
