**Job Opportunity: Civil Infrastructure Project Leader**

Aspect Personnel is currently working with a council in Melbourne's East to recruit an experienced project leader to join their civil design and construction team.

The role will be employed directly with the council until June 2026.

You will have the opportunity to lead the delivery of civil infrastructure projects including roads, drains, traffic management devices, urban improvements, sporting fields, park upgrades, and play spaces.

The council offers a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing design and construction of projects from conception to completion.
  • Management of consultants in the design of projects.
  • Management of contractors in the construction of projects.
  • Administering tenders and contracts for various projects.
  • Delivering projects from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Monitoring and managing project budgets.
  • Identifying, reviewing, and managing risks for the projects.

**Ideal Candidate Requirements:**

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • A tertiary qualification in Civil Engineering including BLA registration.
  • Previous experience in the design and construction of civil engineering and/or urban design capital works projects.
  • Great stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Local Government experience.
  • A current driver's license.
