The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the strategic direction and overseeing operational management, as well as providing direction and support to the development of our people.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leading the strategic direction and overseeing operational management.
  • Providing direction and support to the development of our people.
  • Acting as spokesperson for the sector in public, political, and media engagements.
  • Fostering strong relationships and collaboration with member CEOs, government officials, and community leaders.
  • Championing policies that enhance access to care, member sustainability, and member issues, with a focus on marginalised communities.
  • Ensuring the financial health and governance of the organisation.
  • Driving organisational change and cultivating a culture of excellence, inclusion, and ethical practice.

Requirements:

  • Proven executive leadership experience in complex organisations.
  • Strong political acumen and experience engaging with government and diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication, advocacy, and relationship-building skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage resources, and inspire professional growth.
  • Experience working with and reporting to a Board and member-based organisations.
  • A leadership approach suited to working within a mission-driven context.
