Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Grounds and Facility Manager to join our team at NRMA Parks and Resorts. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the grounds and maintenance team to ensure the highest possible standards in presentation and safety of assets, grounds, and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: As a Grounds and Facility Manager, you will provide leadership, oversight, and daily coordination to grounds and maintenance duties, task allocation, and team rosters.
- Communication and Liaison: You will ensure effective communication and liaison with other park management to guarantee a smooth resort operation and product.
- Equipment Maintenance: You will ensure all equipment is serviced and maintained.
- Safety and Hygiene: You will ensure and maintain a safe environment for our employees and guests.
- Guest Service: You will act on incidental guest service assistance with minor maintenance repairs across our sites, cabins, villas, amenities, and other facilities.
- Project Management: You will assist the team to service water park repairs and maintenance as required and assist with any on-site projects or repairs as needed.
Requirements:
- Leadership Experience: You will have proven experience in leading, influencing, and bringing out the best in a team.
- Trade Qualification: A trade qualification (or similar) is a bonus but not necessary.
- Hands-on Experience: You will have hands-on experience in maintenance of plant, gardens, and in operating related equipment/machinery.
- Physical Fitness: You will be hardworking, energetic, enthusiastic, and possess a high level of physical fitness.
- Can-do Attitude: You will have a can-do attitude and an ability to flex style depending on your customer.
- Basic Hygiene Requirements: You will have knowledge and understanding of basic hygiene requirements and safe working procedures.
