Compensation

The estimated annual salary for this position ranges from $85,000 to $110,000 depending on location and qualifications.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
  • Develop Integrated Logistics Plans: Oversee the creation and implementation of comprehensive logistics support plans to ensure project success.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, operations, procurement, and customer service teams to integrate activities smoothly.
  • Logistics Support Management: Coordinate and manage logistics support activities, including maintenance planning, supply chain management, configuration management, and technical documentation.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare various documents such as maintenance manuals, training support materials, obsolescence management guides, troubleshooting resources, and spare parts catalogs.
  • Failure Analysis and Maintenance: Provide guidance on failure analysis and support effective maintenance practices, including reliability studies and maintenance engineering assessments.
  • Feasibility Studies and Cost-Benefit Analysis: Conduct feasibility studies and cost-benefit analyses to identify and recommend optimal solutions.
  • Project Monitoring and Risk Mitigation: Track project milestones and deliverables to ensure timely completion and adherence to project schedules. Identify and mitigate risks, developing contingency plans to minimize project disruptions.
  • ILS Expertise: Offer technical expertise and guidance to project teams on ILS-related matters.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders through effective communication and collaboration.
RequirementsQualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in project management and logistics support, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
  • Strong knowledge of integrated logistics support principles and methodologies.
  • Experience within the Industrial Refrigeration and Defence industries, with a foundational understanding of relevant practices and processes within each sector.
  • Familiarity with local industry standards and regulations, such as DEF(AUST)5692 and the ASDEFCON support processes suite of standards.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
