About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Engineer to join our team in Sydney, Australia. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-availability data centre solutions.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will have previous experience working in a data centre environment, with a strong background in Linux and knowledge of data centre ecosystems (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling). You will be expected to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues, participate in the installation and maintenance of production server hardware and software, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement high-availability data centre solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues
  • Participate in the installation and maintenance of production server hardware and software
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders
  • Maintain strong adherence to processes and contribute to process improvements
  • Work on a rotating shift basis, including on-call
Requirements
  • Previous experience working in a data centre environment
  • Strong background in Linux
  • Knowledge of data centre ecosystems (cooling, electrical, networking, and structured cabling)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
