Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Administrative Professional to join our Melbourne office, supporting our senior Litigation and Dispute Resolution (L&DR) practice.

The successful candidate will be involved in all areas of administrative support, including managing crucial team administration, handling client queries, and managing the monthly billing process.

About the Role
  • Manage diaries, juggle and arrange appointments, book rooms, and ensure client needs are met
  • Provide administrative support to partners and fee earners in the practice group
  • Prepare documents and correspondence
  • Manage electronic files and maintain confidential firm information
  • Input client data into client relationship software (Interaction)
  • Handle client queries and manage the monthly billing process
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will possess 2 years' experience as a legal secretary or an interactive administration role. A certificate or diploma in legal services or business administration is also desirable.

You should be practical, proactive, and efficient in your approach, with excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong Microsoft Office skills are essential, as are automated billing systems and client relationship management software (Elite 3E and InterAction).
