As an integral part of our team, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of senior leadership's schedules and contributing to the success of important public initiatives.

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated professional who excels in fast-paced environments and thrives under pressure. As a Senior Government Administrative Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing administrative and secretarial support to senior executives, including calendar management, general administration, travel coordination, document management, communication, meeting support, and confidentiality.

  • Scheduling appointments, meetings, and events for senior executives and staff, ensuring efficient use of their time.
  • Providing high-quality, accurate, timely, and professional administrative and logistical support to the executives, staff, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Management of branch finances and travel in line with allocated budgets.
  • Drafting, editing, and proofreading documents, correspondence, and reports to a high standard.
  • Managing and prioritizing emails, phone calls, and other correspondence on behalf of senior executives.
  • Attending meetings, taking accurate minutes, and following up on action items to ensure timely completion.
  • Maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information and handling classified materials as required.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A demonstrated ability to provide high-level executive support in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Well-developed interpersonal, liaison, and representational skills and the ability to establish and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including a strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the use of office software, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A high degree of discretion and professionalism.
  • Knowledge of government processes and procedures (highly desirable).
