Family Intervention Coordinator

The Pregnancy Family Conferencing (PFC) program utilizes family conferencing to promote early engagement and planning with pregnant women and families at risk of their newborns entering out-of-home care.
Key Objectives:- Reduce risks and the number of infants assumed into care
- Identify suitable carers prior to birth
As a Pregnancy Family Conferencing Coordinator, you will be responsible for leading and managing the program. Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating and overseeing all PFC program cases
- Developing and maintaining a team of skilled facilitators
- Undertaking facilitation roles as required
- Developing strong partnerships to sustain and further develop the program
- Developing and implementing program strategies
- Postgraduate degree in counselling or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in interagency work
- Proven ability to provide child-centred, family-focused, and person-centred care
- Understanding of child protection principles and practices
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills
