Position Overview

The Credit Services Officer plays a crucial role in managing applications for trade accounts, finance loan products, and member transactions. This position collaborates with various internal and external stakeholders to ensure an exceptional experience for our Members. Key responsibilities include:

Key Responsibilities


• Evaluate and process all credit applications and modifications in accordance with established service level agreements.


• Verify that all application information is complete and accurately reflects the correct legal entities.


• Conduct inquiries on relevant regulatory platforms and gather property reports for potential memberships.


• Utilize online decision-making software to review credit reports in preparation for approvals.


• Collect and analyze Members' financial documents, seek external insurance when necessary, and prepare business cases for required approvals.


• Address application-related issues through effective communication with the sales team or Members.


• Ensure outstanding customer service is provided to all stakeholders.


• Assist in the preparation and processing of finance applications from submission to settlement, including fee collection.


• Maintain open and professional relationships with internal teams, including Credit and Compliance, to ensure compliance with products.


• Build strong connections with internal departments and Capital Equipment Suppliers.


• Process member terminations within required timeframes.


• Update member accounts and supplier communications as necessary.


• Perform additional clerical tasks as needed.


• Manage share-related transactions.

Qualifications and Skills


• Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external parties.


• Effective communication skills, able to convey information clearly to a variety of stakeholders.

Experience


• Up to 2 years of experience in a lending capacity; candidates with relevant skills may still be considered.


• Demonstrated focus on service delivery in the processing of credit applications.

Educational Requirements


• Certificate IV or higher in Financial Services.
