Job Summary:
The Senior Customer Credit and Risk Specialist is a key role within our Customer Team based at our Perth CBD offices. The purpose of this role is to identify and implement credit, collection, and Life Support process improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for ongoing operational process improvements related to all Customer Credit & Risk processes and service delivery (Life Support, Credit, Collections).
- Deliver improved performance reporting data insights to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement in credit, collections and Life Support pathways and services.
- Develop and implement credit risk management strategies to minimise exposure and potential losses.
- Consolidate data and insights for broader stakeholder reporting on services, including supporting the wider Vulnerable Customer Program team with insights and opportunities for future programs.
- Proactive engagement with relevant stakeholders across third party partners, Vulnerable Customer, Residential, and Customer Operations and Finance Business Unit related to continuous improvement.
Requirements:
- Degree qualification in business, accounting, commerce or risk management.
- Minimum of 5 years credit and collections experience. At least 2 years in a senior capacity, preferably in credit and risk field.
- Extensive experience reporting on developing and implementing continuous improvement opportunities and reporting on credit and collection program success and progress.
- Project management skills and implementation of technical solutions.
- Excellent communication skills to deliver insights and reporting across a broad range of stakeholders.
