Estee Lauder - Airport Coordinator Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and driven sales professional with luxury retail experience to join our team as an Airport Sales and Education Supervisor.

The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving business objectives through supporting sales and education initiatives in their designated region, while maintaining efficient operation tasks, including planning and execution.

This role will require the ability to work autonomously, contribute to the team, and manage multiple priorities and time management effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales and Education:

  • Assist in developing and executing action plans to achieve retail sales targets, KPIs, and objectives.
  • Analyze and review counter sales and BA performance to identify areas for improvement.
  • Create and maintain a sales-focused atmosphere that drives sales and profit goals.

Training and Coaching:

  • Provide virtual and on-counter training and coaching in brand products and customer service.
  • Identify training and coaching needs of assigned counters and develop strategies to address them.
  • Partner with the education team to further develop customer service skills.

Promotions:

  • Identify opportunities to hold on-counter or off-counter events to drive artist and consumer engagement and drive sales.
  • Assist in planning and leading events, working with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coach counter managers on leading and managing the store and team during events.

Inventory:

  • Ensure counter managers have the necessary tools and training to manage inventory levels effectively.
  • Recommend and maintain inventory of display and merchandising materials.
  • Identify slow-moving products or overstocks and develop a sell-through plan.

Human Resources:

  • Assist in recruiting and hiring quality management and retail staff.
  • Provide ongoing training to empower counter managers to run their businesses successfully.
  • Provide clear, constructive feedback to counter managers and BA on their job performance.

Qualifications:

  • Effective coaching style with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and contribute to the team.
  • Proactive and positive approach to work and tasks.

Skills and Experience:

  • Tertiary education, diploma, or university graduate preferred.
  • Previous retail management experience in the cosmetic field preferred.
  • Training and coaching background a plus.
  • Travel retail experience advantageous.
