Job Overview

We are seeking a Technical Support Engineer to join our team in Australia.

This role involves investigating, debugging, and reproducing issues, providing fixes and workarounds, and verifying changes to ensure continued operability of the software solution.

The ideal candidate will have good knowledge and hands-on skills with cloud platforms, particularly AWS and Azure, and application product support.

They should also have experience with containerization and orchestration, preferably using Kubernetes, as well as good knowledge of problem-solving and incident management processes along with ITIL knowledge.

Additionally, they should have intermediate knowledge of databases, including Oracle and SQL Server, and extensive debugging and troubleshooting skills on code-based applications, preferably in C#.

Understanding basic electrical concepts and basic network monitoring concepts and management tools is also beneficial.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be able to replicate customer environments and work to identify and fix root causes or provide interim workarounds as needed.

They will also work collaboratively with multiple teams to expedite resolutions and provide timely updates.

Preferred skills include knowledge of the Utility domain, specifically Head End System (HES) and Meter Data Management System (MDMS), as well as forecasting or analytics expertise.
