Job Summary

Axiom Technologies is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Officer to join our team in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate support to end-users within our desktop computing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Level 2/3 desktop support for Windows 10 or 11, including troubleshooting and resolving issues with Intune, cloud, and thick build machines.
  • Administer and maintain Windows App and Update release information.
  • Support Web applications for Edge or Chrome and Cloud applications, collaborating with app owners as needed.
  • Troubleshoot general performance issues and laptop hardware problems, including monitor, mouse, headset, and phone issues.
  • Manage Office licenses and troubleshoot Office issues for native laptop or cloud applications.
  • Collaborate with MS Outlook app owners to resolve Outlook issues.
  • Have knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policies, as well as PowerShell scripting.
  • Ability to coordinate with technical groups and resolve issues remotely for users.
  • Fix and troubleshoot application issues deployed on end-user systems, including App Login Failures, App not installed, and Software Installations.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in Level 2/3 desktop support.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Well-organized and detail-oriented.
  • Strong customer service ethic and great communication skills.
  • Passionate about delivering quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team-oriented environment.
  • A self-starter, motivated to push the limits and think outside the box.
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Microsoft Office applications.
  • PC/Laptop hardware.
  • PC/Laptop peripherals, including printers.
IT Qualifications
  • At least two of the following: PC/Laptop OEM Maintenance Certification, CompTIA A+ Certification, Microsoft Certified IT Professional (MCITP) certification in the desktop area, or Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Certification.
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience.
