We are seeking a skilled Desktop Support Specialist to join our team at NTT DATA, Inc. in a Desktop Support Engineer role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing exceptional support and guidance.
- Collaborate with the End User Computing (EUC) Team to deliver top-notch support to clients in a client environment.
- Work closely with operational and project objectives, measuring success against Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Critical Success Factors (CSFs), and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Resolve day-to-day incidents and fulfill requests in alignment with the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) framework.
- Participate in Install, Move, Add, Change, and Decommission/Disposal (IMAC-D) activities for desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, and other IT equipment and peripherals as needed.
- Stay up-to-date with new and emerging technologies, guided by business requirements.
Requirements and Preferences:
- At least 1 year of experience in software and hardware troubleshooting, Windows OS in a desktop support environment.
- Strong understanding of the ITIL framework is essential.
- Experience with IT Service Management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow or Remedy is a plus.
- Ability to perform general office requirements and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Travel, including overnight domestic trips, may be required.
