Job Title: Rehabilitation Consultant – Psychologist
About the RoleThis is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals who have sustained psychological injuries at work or may be facing personal challenges at home or in the community.
- The successful candidate will use their clinical expertise and skills to support clients' journey as they return to work and life through Insurance Schemes, Employment Services, and Disability Employment Services.
- Minimising the impact of injuries, illness, and disability is key to this role.
The Rehabilitation Consultant will have the following key responsibilities:
- Provide brief evidence-based interventions and counselling to job seekers and injured workers to improve mental health and wellbeing, and promote recovery.
- Undertake a range of vocational and psychological assessments to assist in determining vocational needs, psychological capabilities, and overall functioning to inform and support return to work facilitation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A strong background in psychology with tertiary qualifications in a relevant field.
- Professional registration with AHPRA, ASORC.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application.
