About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Motor Assessor to join our team at Allianz Australia Services Pty Ltd. As a Motor Assessor, you will be responsible for completing assessments of motor vehicles in either repair cost or total loss and providing customers with access to the prompt resolution of complaints.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments of motor vehicles to determine repair costs or total loss
- Provide customers with clear and concise information regarding the assessment process and outcomes
- Work closely with customers, repairers, and other stakeholders to resolve complaints and issues
- Comply with motor assessing process, guidelines, allowances, parts policy, severity coding requirements, and repairer standards
- Contribute to improving the customer service of selected and non-selected repairers
- Complete total loss reports within 24 hours of assessment, wherever practicable
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A trade qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience as a panel beater, spray painter, or motor mechanic
- A significant understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer Code of Conduct
- An understanding of motor vehicle repair techniques and experience quoting damaged vehicles
- Experience dealing with customers and managing staff
- A current driver's license
- Demonstrated technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
