Motor Assessor Role in Brisbane, QLD

We're seeking a skilled Motor Assessor to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Motor Assessor, you will be responsible for conducting thorough assessments of motor vehicles and providing customers with prompt resolution of complaints.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments of motor vehicles to determine repair costs or total loss and provide customers with timely resolution of complaints.
  • Ensure compliance with motor assessing processes, guidelines, allowances, parts policy, severity coding requirements, and repairer standards.
  • Apply repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts reporting, and scorecards to enhance repairer performance.
  • Contribute to improving customer service for Selected and non-Selected repairers.
  • Prepare total loss reports within 24 hours of assessment.
  • Understand customer insights and feedback and act in the best interests of our customers.
About You:
  • Trade qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience as a Panel Beater, Spray painter, or Motor Mechanic.
  • Significant understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer Code of Conduct.
  • Knowledge of motor vehicle repair techniques and experience quoting damaged vehicles.
  • Experience dealing with customers and managing staff.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
