Motor Vehicle Assessor Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Motor Vehicle Assessor to join our team in Brisbane, QLD. As a Motor Vehicle Assessor, you will be responsible for assessing motor vehicles in either repair cost or total loss and providing customers with access to the prompt resolution of complaints.

About the Role

  • Assess motor vehicles in either repair cost or total loss and provide customers with access to the prompt resolution of complaints.
  • Comply with motor assessing process, guidelines, allowances, parts policy, severity coding requirements, and repairer standards.
  • Apply repair cost benchmarking, alternative parts reporting, and scorecards to improve repairer performance.
  • Contribute to improving the customer service of Selected and non-Selected repairers.
  • Complete total loss reports within 24 hours of assessment.
  • Understand customer insights and feedback and act to put the best interests of our customers at the heart of everything we do.

About You

  • Trade qualification and significant post-apprenticeship experience as a Panel Beater, Spray painter, or Motor Mechanic.
  • Significant understanding of the Motor Vehicle Insurer Code of Conduct.
  • Understanding of motor vehicle repair techniques and experience quoting damaged vehicles.
  • Experience dealing with customers and managing staff.
  • Current Driver's License.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency with systems, software, databases, reporting, and communication tools.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
