Job Title: Technical Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to claims teams regarding the claims management process in accordance with Victorian workers compensation law and WorkSafe Victoria guidelines.
- Assist claims teams in achieving performance metrics.
- Review and provide feedback on current claims management practices and procedures to identify emerging trends and ensure effective management.
- Develop strategic initiatives and procedures to guarantee achievement of all service, performance, and compliance measures.
- Nurture collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with organizational departments to ensure adherence to legal, governance, and WorkSafe Victoria regulations.
About You:
- Proven technical expertise within the Victorian workers compensation scheme.
- Previous experience as a technical specialist or similar role in workers compensation claims is preferred.
- Experience managing relationships and competing stakeholder priorities.
- Exceptional time management and negotiation skills.
- Superior problem-solving and strategic thinking abilities.
- Experience coaching and supporting colleagues.
