Claims Management Professional

This role is ideal for experienced professionals in claims management with a proven track record of handling personal injury and property liability claims. You will work collaboratively to provide technical advice and support to clients on claims within delegated authorities.
Main Responsibilities:- Providing technical advice in personal injury and property liability claims with some exposure to financial line claims.
- Identifying opportunities to exceed service level expectations, key performance indicators, and regulatory requirements.
- Assisting the Team Leader with managing workflow and resources.
- Participating in claim reviews and performance meetings to discuss claim strategies, risks, and outcomes.
- Managing a portfolio of sensitive or high-risk claims according to regulatory guidelines and promoting a positive risk culture aligned with the risk governance framework.
- Acting as a point of escalation to influence outcomes that support the team and business goals.
- Experienced professional with a strong understanding of third-party liability claims and relevant legislation.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to identify key issues, break down complex problems, establish and manage reserves, and develop solutions to support effective decision-making.
- Strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and cost management awareness.
- Sound experience in third-party liability claims with at least 1 year's experience.
- Understanding and experience with the application of various applicable State-based legislation and regulation.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business, or insurance (desired).
- Sound experience in financial line claims will also be highly regarded.
