Mental Health Care Specialist

Seeking a Mental Health Professional to provide vital clinical care to Australian Defence Force personnel across Army, Air Force, and Navy.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will deliver mental health assessments and evidence-based treatments as part of a multidisciplinary team in a health centre setting. They will manage crisis presentations, risk assessment, and risk management planning, supporting ADF members with initial intake and assessment, accommodating presenting needs.
Develop case formulations and treatment plans, promoting programmatic treatment interventions, care coordination, and group psycho-education.
Requirements- A high level of personal integrity and ethical behavior is essential.
- Current registration as a Psychologist with a relevant professional body is required.
- A minimum of 2 years post-graduate experience in mental health, undertaking comprehensive assessments and delivering focused psychological strategies is necessary.
- Recent participation in continuing professional development activities and current CPR certification are also expected.
