Key Responsibilities
  • Support the diverse mental health needs of military members with comprehensive assessment and evidence-based treatment planning.
  • Manage crisis presentations, conduct risk assessments, and develop risk management plans.
  • Deliver high-quality services through flexible intake and assessment processes, accommodating presenting needs.
  • Develop and implement case formulations, treatment plans, and programmatic interventions.
  • Care for patients through coordination and group psycho-education.

Requirements
  • We seek individuals with strong personal integrity and ethics.
  • A current unconditional registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA is required.
  • At least 2 years of postgraduate experience in mental health within the last 5 years is necessary, with expertise in comprehensive mental health assessment and Focused Psychological Strategies.
  • Ongoing participation in Continuous Professional Development activities is expected.
  • A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation certification is required.
  • Familiarity with State/Territory policies, national standards, and relevant mental health practices is desirable.
