Dynamic Mental Health Care Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Registered Nurse to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team delivering top-quality mental health services.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering evidence-based care in a nurturing environment, conducting risk assessments and crisis intervention, participating in case formulation and medication management, and providing additional support services as needed.
This role is an excellent opportunity for professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of ADF members and their families.
As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive mental health services.
In this role, you will be supported by a robust multidisciplinary team and the Senior Mental Health team for your region.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based mental health services to patients
- Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention
- Participate in case formulation and medication management
- Provide additional support services as needed within a multidisciplinary team
- A current unconditional and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse in Australia with AHPRA
- Credentialing with the Australian College of Mental Health Nurses (ACMHN), or a minimum qualification of Graduate Diploma in Mental Health Nursing
- At least 2 years' full-time equivalent post-graduate work experience in mental health, including comprehensive assessments and delivery of evidence-based focused psychological strategies as per Medicare Schedule in the last 5 years
- A current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
- Familiarity with relevant State/Territory policies, national standards, and the ADF Mental Health and Wellbeing Strategy preferred
