Opportunity Overview
We seek highly motivated and experienced Clinical Facilitators to join our Clinical Education team on a casual basis. As a Clinical Facilitator, you will play a vital role in developing the knowledge, attitudes, and skills of nursing students while on clinical practice.
Your Responsibilities
- Act as a professional role model for students at St Vincent's Private Hospitals, Northside and Brisbane, maintaining positive relationships to enhance their learning experiences.
- Closely work with universities and TAFEs to facilitate nursing students' learning and progress within the clinical environment.
Requirements
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated advanced clinical skills and knowledge across a range of specialties.
- A minimum of two years' experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Demonstrated educational abilities and use of best practice educational principles in relation to student management.
- Knowledge of the National Competency Standards for Registered Nurses and Australian Nurse Teacher Professional Practice Standards.
