About the Role

As a Clinical Nurse Educator at Healthscope, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of healthcare by delivering exceptional education and support to students from various tertiary institutions.

Reporting to the Education Team, your primary responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Education Team to facilitate student placement across our facilities, ensuring seamless orientation and ongoing communication with staff and students.
  • Designing and delivering educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of students, promoting their growth through observation, participation, reflection, and skill development.
  • Acting as a role model for Safe Practice, upholding the highest standards of clinical excellence.

To excel in this position, you will possess:

  • Current AHPRA Registration
  • Certificate IV Workplace Assessment & Training (TAE)
  • Demonstrated experience in eLearning platforms
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High degree of computer literacy including MS Office
  • Advanced level of autonomous clinical and professional practice
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in ED / ICU / HDU or high acuity clinical areas
  • Demonstrated experience in managing quality improvement projects
  • Ability to make decisions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams

While a Post Graduate studies in relevant field and previous experience in an education/preceptor role are highly desirable, they are not mandatory. Your salary will be around $95,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with your experience.
