Senior Retail Lease Administrator Job DescriptionAbout the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Retail Lease Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess significant lease administration experience within retail, in-depth understanding of relevant legislation and regulations, and exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and negotiation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the administration of lease agreements across a significant retail portfolio, ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency.
  • Oversee a high-volume pipeline of leasing matters, managing negotiations, amendments, variations, and ancillary documentation.
  • Collaborate closely with legal partners to ensure documentation aligns with relevant retail leasing legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Act as the central point of contact for internal teams, tenants, and legal providers, fostering strong relationships and providing expert guidance.
  • Maintain accurate reporting of lease activity, ensuring timely updates for senior leadership and supporting strategic decision-making.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • SIGNIFICANT LEASE ADMINISTRATION EXPERIENCE WITHIN RETAIL
  • IN-DEPTH UNDERSTANDING OF THE RLA
  • PROVEN ABILITY TO INTERPRET, NEGOTIATE, AND MANAGE COMPLEX LEASE DOCUMENTATION
  • EXCEPTIONAL COMMUNICATION, STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT, AND NEGOTIATION SKILLS
  • A PROACTIVE MINDSET, STRONG BUSINESS ACUMEN, AND THE CONFIDENCE TO INFLUENCE AT SENIOR LEVELS
