Senior Centre Manager Job Description

This is a senior leadership role for a retail portfolio of shopping centres, requiring an experienced centre manager to oversee operations and strategy across multiple sites.

The successful candidate will be based onsite at Penrith Homemaker Centre with regular visits to other locations. A collaborative team with future career development opportunities is on offer, and you'll work close to home with full support from an admin, facilities, and marketing team also based onsite.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deliver efficient and cost-effective management of the centres, ensuring optimal performance and profitability.
  • Position and protect the investment value of the property asset relative to competitive properties within the area.
  • Ensure tenancy and lease management, including compliance matters and implementation of fixed and CPI reviews in accordance with relevant lease provisions.
  • Lead the onsite team consisting of facilities management, marketing, and administration.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures aligned with owner objectives, investment strategies, and occupier requirements.
  • Prepare and analyse cash flow budgets, including forecasting of retail performance.
  • Conduct regular site visits and provide centre performance updates to stakeholders.

Key Requirements:

  • Previous centre management experience within a retail environment.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Dynamism and adaptability to change.
  • Able to build relationships with stakeholders quickly and effectively manage client expectations.
  • Advanced communication skills and a proactive approach.
  • A driver's licence/car and real estate licence are required for this role.
