Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Portfolio Management professional to join our organisation.

Our team is comprised of skilled professionals who design, develop and innovate retail stores with a focus on delivering fresh food and great experiences to customers every day.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Establish best-in-class governance structures, steering frameworks and executive reporting suites for the entire program portfolio.
  • Provide strategic direction to the PMO team ensuring alignment with key priorities and risk management principles.
  • Oversight of a team of 5 direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance, continuous improvement and knowledge sharing.
  • Design and roll out executive reporting suites, dashboards and scorecards to inform senior leadership decision-making.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure PMO support and address cross-functional barriers to portfolio planning readiness.
  • Maintain personal compliance with company policies, procedures and applicable external laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in senior PMO/portfolio management roles with demonstrated governance expertise.
  • A strong track record of managing governance for large portfolios.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring PMO teams, establishing PMO functions within complex organisations.
  • Exceptional influencing skills, chairing steering committees and influencing at the executive level.
  • A solid background in risk management, forecasting and developing executive reporting suites.
  • Advanced analytical capabilities and data visualisation expertise.
  • The ability to think strategically, translate vision into actionable frameworks and lead change management efforts.
  • Essential experience with both Agile and Waterfall project methodologies.
