Job Overview

We seek a highly skilled professional to collaborate with product managers, software developers, analysts, business officers, and diverse stakeholders to drive successful sales strategy execution within the State Government sector.

Our ideal candidate will possess technical proficiency, customer-centricity, and an in-depth understanding of government agencies' unique operational requirements and digital transformation priorities.

Pega's comprehensive portfolio of strategic applications empowers government agencies to accelerate their digital transformation journey by automating processes, streamlining citizen services, and reimagining public service delivery.

The selected consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the NSW Government's commitment to innovative, accessible, and efficient public service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Present and discuss solutions to meet the specific needs of State government agencies and their citizen service objectives
  • Collaborate with the Sales Team to create and deliver world-class technical demonstrations tailored to government requirements and digital service standards
  • Drive digital transformation by helping government agencies streamline critical operations and enhance citizen engagement across multiple digital channels
  • Analyze key challenges facing government enterprises and evaluate how Pega's unique technology platform can drive meaningful improvements in public service delivery and citizen outcomes
  • Build trusted relationships with technical and business stakeholders across government agencies, understanding their unique operational context and compliance requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A passionate professional with genuine enthusiasm for both people and technology, bringing technical and business experience in client-facing roles such as pre-sales consulting, technical enablement, or software application development
  • Technically qualified with a Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or substantial knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and modern software development practices
  • A strategic communicator with exceptional communication skills needed to develop customer relationships and build robust product demonstrations
  • Experienced in software development and architecture, project management, requirements engineering, product management, and solution architecture, specifically working with State government agencies
  • Compliance aware with a strong understanding of digital transformation strategies, government compliance frameworks, data sovereignty principles, and public sector governance requirements
  • Solution focused with a demonstrated background in delivering complex technology solutions within secure government environments, understanding public sector procurement and implementation processes
