Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Negotiator to join our team. As a key member of our Operations Team, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts, ensuring contract compliance, and identifying and mitigating contractual and financial risks.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Managing contractual obligations, changes, and disagreements.
  • Identifying risks and issues, proposing mitigation actions.
  • Providing interpretation and advice on customer procurement policies, regulations, and contract requirements.
  • Maintaining comprehensive contract documentation and administration systems.
  • Collaborating with Operations, Business Development, and Finance to manage program financial arrangements.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, or Law.
  • Experience in contract management, supply chain, or procurement in contract and supplier management activities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Expertise in stakeholder- and risk/opportunity management.
  • Knowledge of ASDEFCON procurement and contract methodology (desirable).
