Senior Commercial Negotiator

The Contracts Manager will be responsible for ensuring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, as well as identifying and mitigating any potential risks associated with the contracts.
Key responsibilities include assisting to deploy a sophisticated contract management strategy, presenting innovative ideas, liaising with suppliers/subcontractors, preparing tender packages, and negotiating rates/pricing schedules.
A high level of commercial proficiency with the ability to navigate complex deal structures is required. The successful candidate will positively influence, build, and maintain relationships with internal and external partners/clients.
Minimum Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Project Management or Contract Management.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience delivering complex projects ideally within the resource sector.
- In-depth knowledge of contract law, procurement best practices, and relevant regulations.
Preferred Skills:
- Business Management and Commercial qualifications.
- Proven experience in writing for executive audiences, including briefs and reports.
- Previous experience negotiating and managing contracts or Supply Contracts.
This role requires an active AGSVA baseline or NV1 clearance at a minimum.
