Senior Contracts Administrator required for a $105M commercial project about to kick off in Canberra with further growth forecasted in the region.

Great opportunity to join a team of construction professionals working on a range of projects in the ACT region. 

Roles and Responsibilities of the Contracts Administrator will include:

  • Preparation of subcontractor packages, scopes, lettings, procurement schedules
  • Progress claim assistance and external variations
  • Review, negotiation and finalization of subcontracts
  • Management and tracking of project expenditure, inclusive of subcontractor claim
  • Administration of RFIs to clients, architects and consultants
  • Administration of the project HSE system

To be considered for the role of Senior Contracts Administrator you will require:

  • Senior and mid-level construction/building contract/commercial management skill set with experience managing head and subcontracts on government building projects
  • Aspiring contract administration level; demonstrated experience in leading subcontractor/trade administration on medium to large built form projects
  • Industry relevant degree qualification
  • Familiarity with Contract Law principals & construction specific Acts, codes and Regulations
  • Confident & collaborative communicator
  • Self-motivated and ability to drive autonomous outcomes and decisions.
  • Process and system appreciative
