Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team at Westmead Hospital. As a key member of our Child, Youth, and Adolescent PEIRS team, you will provide impactful therapy to youth in a collaborative recovery-focused environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assessments and evidence-based therapy to youth aged 12-25.
- Support recovery for youth with moderate to severe mental illness.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external agencies to develop individual care plans.
- Work in acute and recovery settings to promote empowerment and empowerment.
Requirements:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or Social Worker.
- Full registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse, Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, or eligibility to be a member of the AASW.
- Demonstrated clinical experience and ability in assessing and treating children, adolescents, and youth with mental health problems.
- Demonstrated ability to provide assessment and treatment for children, adolescents, and youth from a diverse cultural and linguistic background.
- Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to Equity, Workplace Health and Safety principles and practice in a workplace.
