About the Role

The Western NSW Local Health District is seeking a skilled Mental Health Nurse Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team. As a key member of our team, you will provide mental health care to children, adolescents, and their families/carers in the Orange area.

The successful applicant will bring energy and enthusiasm to the role, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based mental health interventions to children, young people, and families. This role sits within the Infant Child Youth & Family (ICYF) mental health services, which operate from Bloomfield Hospital, Orange.

The Community Child and Adolescent Mental Health team is a multidisciplinary team working with young people up to age 18 with mental health challenges that are having a significant impact on their daily life. ICYF consists of services ranging from early intervention through to acute services, partnering with a range of health services and other agencies to provide comprehensive care.
