Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mental Health Specialist Clinician to join our team at SA Health, Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality mental health services to older persons in a rural and remote setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive mental health care plans for older persons
  • Provide consultation and liaison services to other healthcare professionals and services
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and services to ensure seamless care transitions

Requirements:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Psychology, Occupational Therapy, or Social Work
  • Registration with the relevant professional association
  • Experience working in mental health, particularly with older persons
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
