We're seeking a Lifestyle Coordinator to develop and implement lifestyle activities and programs that promote the social, psychological, recreational, cultural and spiritual wellbeing of our residents at a geriatric facility.
- Develop innovative events and lifestyle activities for residents, involving the community, volunteers and family and friends where possible.
- Conduct resident assessments to gain a deeper understanding of each resident's preferences and needs.
- Encourage resident choice and participation in individual and group activities.
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A compassionate heart and passion for providing high-quality care to seniors.
- Certificate IV in Leisure and Health or similar qualification.
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Strong coaching/training skills.
- Able to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families.
- Commitment to respecting the values, customs, preferences and spiritual beliefs of residents.
This role offers a competitive hourly pay rate, fitness passport gym benefit, paid parental leave, long service leave after 5 years and additional week of leave for shift workers.
