About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SMSF Portfolio Manager to join our team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a specific SMSF portfolio, ensuring exceptional outcomes and quality of work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and review compliance work files, reporting deliverables, and audit outcomes on each fund within your portfolio.
  • Proactively liaise with clients, external auditors, ATO, and internal stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and high-quality results.
  • Provide technical advice to clients on superannuation and taxation rules.
  • Develop technical expertise working across services, including tax and accounting compliance, and business/tax advisory work for middle-market clients.
  • Assist in internal training and client events on SMSF topics.
  • Effectively manage billing and internal risk procedures.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in SMSF management in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm is highly desirable.
  • CA or CPA qualification is required.
  • Strong collaborative skills, dedicated work ethic, and excellent communication skills are essential.
  • A passion for ongoing learning and professional development is necessary.
