Work Health and Safety Specialist

As a Work Health and Safety Specialist, you will lead the development of a proactive safety culture within an organisation. You will be responsible for shaping and supporting a positive WHS environment by implementing strategies and compliance protocols, conducting incident investigations and corrective actions, coordinating emergency preparedness and fire response systems, delivering training and building safety capability across the site.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coach leaders on WHS strategies and compliance
  • Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Coordinate emergency preparedness and fire response systems
  • Deliver WHS training and build safety capability
  • Review and update safety policies and procedures
  • Support injury management and return to work planning

To achieve this goal, you will use data and digital tools to monitor, report, and improve safety outcomes. A successful candidate will have qualifications in health or safety, 3+ years of experience in WHS or a related field, and tech-savvy skills using Microsoft Office and safety systems.
